What is a Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel is a procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. The skin that grows back is smoother. With a light or medium peel, you may need to undergo the procedure more than once to get the desired results.

Lactic Lightening Peel​

Our 20% Lactic Lightening Peel contains lactic acid and is great for hydrating and gently exfoliating the skin. The peel also includes two superb lighteners.

Glycolic Peel​

Our 30% Glycolic Peel is an excellent peel for cell renewal, working to dissolve desmosomes that bond cells together to reveal healthier revitalized skin. Designed to target closed comedones as well as aging skin with fine lines

TCA Depigmentation Peel​
​
10% TCA Depigmentation Peel is a gentle yet powerful treatment that effectively targets melanocytes without causing skin trauma. Formulated with azelaic, arbutin, and kojic acids—each known for their tyrosinase-inhibiting properties—this peel helps manage hyperpigmentation, melasma, and sun damage across all skin types (Fitzpatrick 1 to 6). This blend of acids works harmoniously to even out skin tone, reduce acne, and refine skin texture, making it an excellent choice for overall skin rejuvenation.

Chemical Peel Preparation

Begin homecare 1-2 weeks before your first treatment. This is to ensure your skin is prepared to benefit most from your peel.

Discontinue use of over the counter and prescription retinoids, antibiotics and steroids for at least 1-2 weeks before treatment.

If you have a cold sore or fever blister breakout before your scheduled appointment, please notify us so we can get you rescheduled.

Avoid sun exposure before and after treatment.
Morning Routine
- Gentle Cleanser
- Hydrating Toner
- Moisturizer
- SPF
Night Routine
- Gentle Cleanser
- Hydrating Toner or Glycolic Toner on pigmentated areas
- Moisturizer
Use a refining scrub (in between cleanser and toner) on nights 1 and 4 of 7-day skin prep prior to treatment.
Post Peel Home Care

Exercise, sauna, hot tubs, swimming, picking/pulling skin, and direct sunlight should be avoided. It is preferable to wait until the peel process is complete. Typically, between 3-10 days depending on peel type.

With Lactic and Glycolic peels there should be little to no down time and only microscopic peeling. 3-7 days for peel process to be complete.

With TCA peel there is peeling/flaking. 7-10 days for peel process to be complete. In cases of sensitive skin its best to be gentle on skin for 2 weeks.

It is normal to experience slight crusting on the face as well as some discoloration with the TCA peel.

A light, gentle, non-chemical exfoliant can be used 3 days post peel (at night) and then 2-3 times a week following that.
